The M252 is a military item in MTA DayZ. This is mortar (mine-thrower). It can be used to fire powerful grenades.

How to use mortar
You can use this mortar to launch grenades (M889 HE).
Put it on the ground via inventory menu and then use options menu to open military interface.
Interface looks like this:
Use cursor to select target and click "launch".
This mortar is equipped with artillery radar. It will show you military activity in the area (launched grenades).
Where to find
Most loot places with M252 located in Red County (27%). Other places in San Fierro (20%), Whetstone (20%), Flint County (11%), Los Santos (10%), Bone County (5%) and Las Venturas (5%).
