The Generator is a military item in MTA DayZ.
How to charge Empty Vehicle Battery
You can charge Empty Vehicle Battery using Generator and at least 2 Full Gas Canisters.
Put it on the ground via inventory menu and then use options menu to refuel.
Option to charge Empty Vehicle Battery will appear after you refuel it.
At the end you will get charged Vehicle Battery that you can use to fix vehicles.
Where to find
Most loot places with Generator located in Los Santos (24%). Other places in Las Venturas (17%), San Fierro (14%), Red County (10%), Bone County (7%), Tierra Robada (5%), Flint County (4%), Custom Island 3 (3%), Custom Island 2 (3%), Stalker County (3%), Whetstone (2%), Custom Island 1 (1.4%) and Military Ships (0.3%).
